Shipping policy
We do ship within the United States if the bunny order is $300 or more and payment
in full is required before shipping
There are a lot of costs involved in shipping rabbits through the airlines
We prefer to ship through Delta as they have the safest and most reliable shipping
for rabbits
An appropriate transport cage is required and we can purchase these
at our end for you or you can pay a refundable deposit and when the transport cage is returned to us the deposit will be refunded
These carriers need to be made to the industry standards of the airlines and
the ASPCA
They require that each rabbit has it's own individual hole with food and water
provided before drop off
They also require that the hole be large enough for the rabbit to sit, stand,
turn around and lay down comfortably
Rabbits dropped off for shipment must have a health certificate these can be
obtained through the local veterinarian and usually cost $25 for the office visit and $7 for each individual certificate
Shipping with Delta Cargo is roughly $300 at this time and we can put
up to 100 lbs or 12 rabbits in one carrier for this one way flight charge anywhere in the United States. We suggest that you
ride share with others and split the cost of shipping.
These reservations must be made in advance and once the reservation is made the
flight is paid for and there is no turning back
There will also be a fuel charge of $50 for delivering the rabbits
to the airport 2 hours before their flight
We do provide the rabbits with Bene-Bac a beneficial bacteria which will help
them with the stress of traveling.
Rabbits can not be shipped if the temperature at all connecting airports is below
45 degrees or above 85 degrees this is for the health and welfare of the animals
All expences must be paid and reservations made and paid for by you before the
rabbits will leave my rabbitry.
